HSG Entrepreneurship Campus

Becoming an entrepreneur – that is one career opportunity that presents itself to students of St.Gallen University. The Entrepreneurship Campus is the hub for entrepreneurship at HSG.

Becoming an entrepreneur is a common dream. In Switzerland, several thousand companies are founded every year. HSG alone has spun out more than 100 startups over the years, among them known names like ABACUS, Namics and Dacuda.

Thus, HSG students’ entrepreneurial spirit is to be especially nurtured. The Entrepreneurship Campus (ENT@HSG) gives students an understanding of the facets of entrepreneurship and supports technology-oriented and knowledge-intensive start-up projects at HSG.

“HSG Entrepreneur of the Year”
The HSG Founders’ Garage is the core of the Entrepreneurship Campus. Once a year, it brings together several start-up projects from the university and its environment for a few weeks. In addition to the projects that are presented, the “HSG Entrepreneur of the Year” is honored at the end of the Founders’ Garage program.

Guidance, coordination, training
The HSG Founder Lab, the initiator of the Entrepreneurship Campus, has a wide field of activity. For example, it advises company founders and those from the university who are interested in starting a company, and brings together HSG students and scholars with external partners that come from research and practical experience. It follows and records start-up activities at our university and coordinates courses on entrepreneurship – and much more.

The HSG Founder Lab also awards scholarships to select students that enable them to work intensively on their business ideas and bring them to market.
