Language courses for incoming exchange students

Exchange students are free to join our language courses

Exchange students from a Partner University, Swiss Mobility and Freemover

Exchange students are free to choose any language course offered by the University of St.Gallen. Please note that the only basis for course attendance and thus for admission to the relevant examination and the award of the relevant credits is the University's bidding system. The bidding for exchange students starts approximately 2 weeks before the semester. More detailed information about the bidding-process is available in the fact sheet «Bidding guest students».

CEMS exchange students

The University of St. Gallen offers CEMS students (Master in International Management) several language courses such as:

• German for CEMS students
• English for CEMS students
• French for CEMS students
• Italian for CEMS students
• Spanish for CEMS students

Additionally, CEMS students are free to attend the regular language courses for bachelor and master students at the University of St.Gallen. The basis for course enrollment is the University's bidding system. Date and time of examination can be individually discussed with the teacher.
